Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are looking for someone that has some experience with digital marketing, is familiar with inbound marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and theory.
\nYou will work on various digital marketing tasks primarily revolving around inbound marketing and SEO. You will work closely with our social networking strategist to help develop and execute inbound marketing campaigns on behalf of our clientele.<\/p>\n

We are looking to meet a team player who wants to grow personally and professionally and make an impact with the company they work for. This person has a good work ethic, is methodical, and enjoy’s constantly learning digital.<\/p>\n

Tasks and responsibilities will include:<\/h2>\n

Blog article writing
\nText writing \/ proofing
\nPossibility of some translation (French to English & English to French)
\n“On-page” verification of text to be used on customer websites using seo tools\/methods
\n“Off-page” auditing, reviews and manual link building
\nWeb site optimization health checkups and performance analysis (using various web based tools)
\nRegular follow up and review of client websites and social profiles
\nDevelop a content calendar in conjunction with social media strategist<\/p>\n

Required:<\/h2>\n

Bilingual (written French and English is a prerequisite for employment)
\nCollege or University (maximum) grad in Marketing or related field
\nHave a strong interest in marketing and advertising. Particularly however you are interested in the mechanics behind digital marketing in all of its many forms (Web browsing, blogs & social media)
\nBe prepared to work in an ever developing environment
\nYou should be able to demonstrate some work you have done in the past that directly relates to the position. For example, you should be able to supply blogs you have written, websites you may have built yourself or worked on in the past that can demonstrate your understanding of inbound marketing and search engine optimization techniques and strategies
\nOrganized with an attention to detail
\nAbility to work autonomously yet well in a group

At WebCie MTL Inc. you will help to develop the social voice for several of our clients. Additionally, you will work on the development of local SEO services for several of our local clients. At WebCie MTL Inc. your work week will be divided into the following sets of tasks;<\/p>\n

– Building and developing custom social calendar for local businesses
\n– Ability to write creative and engaging content that matches the tone of the company in question
\n– Gathering information\/content from point of contact on timely basis
\n– Apply advertising social promotions strategically to enhance advertisements reach and engagement
\n– Monthly audit & reporting of social and local SEO campaign success and challenges (Facebook Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google search console, Google analytics)
\n– Order and audit received blog content on a weekly\/monthly basis.
\n– Optimize monthly blog posts for search engines.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– French writing\/speaking proficiency
\n– Bi-lingual
\n– Comfortable translating simple English to French & vice versa
\n– Background; Marketing, Administration, Communications or Social studies
\n– Demonstrable social media skills
\n– Ability to work autonomously as well as in small groups
\n– Experience with Office, Google docs, or Apple docs
\n– Experience working directly with clients (extra)
\n– Experience with Photoshop or any other photo editing tools (extra)<\/p>\n

This will be a 15 to 21 hour per week part-time position (2 to 3 days per week). Possible full-time work in summer.<\/p>\n
